Vadio undermines biometric radar surveillance - emerging military technology that monitors individuals’ heartbeats, activities & identities through walls, in crowds, anywhere, using radio waves. The technology is slowly creeping into our everyday lives and represents a leap forward to inescapable, ubiquitous surveillance; a threat to privacy, political expression and democratic stability. Vadio counters biometric radar by alerting vulnerable political activists & protesters when they are being monitored. It translates the surveilling radio waves into physical sensations, providing directional information to allow evasion or behaviour adjustment.
